Good Afternoon All. I hope you are all having a fantastic day today. Today out in Victoria, British Columbia the sun is shining brightly and that makes me feel very cheerful on the inside.

I just finished stitching the left and right fronts to the back of my cardigan. I am now starting to knit the sleeves. Then I will work on the hood. The final part I will do to my cardigan is the button holes and the buttons. Or maybe I will do the button holes first and then the hood. I also have to finish off the pockets. I really want my cardigan to turn out but I am not getting my hopes up.

Okay well I will blog now later. Right now I have to knit and listen to Akon.

Okay So I finished the button holes on my sweater.

I also went to Conditioning and Boxing at the gym. I am glad I did as I don't think I will be able to go to the gym on Saturday.

Good Morning All. I hope that you all have a great day today. At the moment I am drinking coffee and knitting. I have completed the left front of my cardigan. I just have to place markers for 7 buttons. So at the moment I am working on the right front of my cardigan. I am also listening to music. But soon I have to head out. Today I am working from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Tonight I am looking forward to playing Field-Hockey. Okay that is all to write for now. I will write more later. But right now I have to finish drinking my coffee and then head out.

15:44 PM: Good Afternoon All. Working in a retirement home was a breath of fresh air today. But now I am at home feeling tired. Tonight I have to go up to UVIC for Field Hockey. Okay that's all for now. I am knitting at the moment and drinking coffee.

16:36: I just realized I completed my goal of knitting ten pairs of mittens. My new goal is to have completed 20 pairs of mittens.

17:55: So I have made it to the point in my knitting where I need to make button holes and sew on the buttons. I am going to go to the knitting store tomorrow and see if I can get help in making button holes. If possible I will also buy the buttons tomorrow. But the good news is that both the right front and the left front are finished. My next goal is to start the sleeves.

UPDATE: So I made it to field-hockey tonight. I didn't have the best time like I usually do but I had a pretty good time. It was just really hot out and I am noticing that my back has been killing me tonight. So when I got home I made some pasta, coffee and tea and then lay down with an ice pack against my back.

21:00: Good Evening All. I hope you all had a good day. Today was crazy and hectic working as a Care Giver but I am not at liberty to say why the day was crazy and hectic. After work I took the bus home and then I did laundry and washed my hair. I also knitted for a while on my cardigan. Then I was at the gym this evening taking part in Conditioning and Boxing Classes. Going to the gym always makes me feel better after stressful work shifts. Now I am sitting at home in the kitchen. I just made macaroni. Now I am heating up water for coffee and tea. I am going to drink lemon and ginger herbal TWININGS Tea. I also feel like I need to wrap my left knee up in a tensor bandage for a while. Also I am going to curl up and watch videos on YOUTUBE and knit. I need to work on the Right Front of my Cardigan now. I am praying that the Cardigan turns out.

Good Afternoon All. This morning I was working from 8 AM to 9:30 AM. I walked to work this morning. Before starting work I sat in Beacon Hill Park and I was lucky enough to see a Mother Otter and two baby otter. Such a neat experience to see otter. I wish I had my camera with me because I would have taken some photographs of the otter.

Here is a picture of an Otter I found on the internet. This is the kind of otters I saw today. I don't know if there are different types of otter but that would be something to research.

After working I walked to the Boxing Gym and took part in the Boxing Class. I am now sitting at home feeling sore and sweaty and also tired but happy. I have to start working even harder at the boxing gym then before. If I want to take part in a Fight in the future I have to think about Boxing every single moment when I am not at the Boxing Gym and also when I am not working.

I will write more later. Right now I want to drink some coffee and tea and curl up with some knitting. I have to get my cardigan finished.

So now in the works I have the left front and also the right front of my cardigan. This excites me. I really am hoping that the cardigan will turn out.

Another thing to mention is that I am working on a website. I want to have a website that showcases who I am. So right now I have a website idea but I am sure the idea will be changing. I want to have the perfect website and right now I don't have a clue what the perfect website looks like.

After working until 10 Am I went for a walk around Beacon Hill Park and took many photographs of the lakes, the ducks, the flowers and the turtles. In the evening I went to the Boxing Gym and took part in the boxing class.

7:56 AM: Bonjour! Good Morning All. I hope you all have a fantastic day today. I am planning on seeing a friend this afternoon at the mall. It will be fun to chill and relax. At the moment I am knitting. I am working on my cardigan. I am praying that the cardigan turns out because it would be amazing to wear. At the moment I am working on the left front of the cardigan. I am going to go and make coffee and tea soon and eat granola. I need to watch some documentaries on Boxing as well this morning. I will write more later. Have a great day.

Good Morning All. It is 8:00 AM in the morning. I am laying in bed. I drank a cup of tea already and am now doing some knitting while watching a documentary about the Rocky Mountains. I know the Rocky Mountains are located in Canada but didn't realize the Rocky Mountains were also located in the United States. I am about to drink a cup of coffee. Today I have to pick up more milk. I am also going to the Boxing Gym tonight. I will take part in Conditioning Class and Boxing Class. Okay all for now. I hope you all have a gorgeous day. I will blog more later today.

2:07 PM: Okay so after watching a documentary on the Rocky Mountains I ended up falling asleep. I awoke at 11:00 AM. I then started working on my knitting again. And I have great news to share. I just completed a Red and Yellow Mitten. Now I have one more Red and Yellow Mitten to go. I am already thinking of color combinations for my next pair of mittens.

Good Morning All. I only have one client this morning. That's too bad but oh well. It's part of life and it's called growing up and dealing with the good and the bad. I am just grateful to be an adult with an adult job. I ate some granola and drank a cup of tea. Now I am drinking coffee and then I am heading off to work. I work for an hour this morning from 8am to 9am. Tonight since there is no Boxing at the gym I am going to go and play Field Hockey. In the past there used to be Women's Boxing on Tuesday and Thursdays as well as Kickboxing on Tuesday and Thursdays but for now Tuesday and Thursday night Boxing and Kickboxing classes have been canceled.

1:27 PM: Work didn't go well today. I feel like I screwed up today but I learned some valuable lessons from my screw up. All I can do now that work is over today is not make the same mistake again, do better and move on with my life.

1:43 PM: Anyways what do I have to look forward to this evening? Well I have Field Hockey to look forward too. At the moment I am knitting a pair of red and yellow mittens. Will post photos once I am finished.

So I ended up finishing the back of the cardigan today and I went to Field-Hockey this evening. I had a great time playing Field-Hockey.

8:37 PM: Good Evening all. This morning I worked from 7am until 12:30pm. After work I came home and drank from coffee and tea while chilling in front of the computer. Then I went to the Boxing gym this evening and took part in Conditioning Class and Boxing Class. Good Day Today. I am now making dinner and making more coffee and tea. Then my plan is to chill in front of the computer and do a bit of knitting.

Good Afternoon All. I hope you are all having a fantastic day. My day has not been so fantastic so far but that is part of life. Work is good sometimes day and stressful and depressing other days. Been doing a bit of knitting today. I also went to Glad Tidings Church this evening which I hadn't been to for a while.

Working: Working is a highlight of my day because I love to help my clients with activities of daily living. Working is also a highlight of my day because I love to wear Scrubs.
Church: Church is a highlight of my day because I love to listen to the live upbeat music played in the evening service which is geared towards young people and also because I love listening to the pastor preach. I love listening to the pastor preach because he says things that I can apply to my life.

Good Morning All. I am about to get up and make myself a cup of coffee and also finish off the granola that I have. Today I work until 11:40am. So I will miss Conditioning and Boxing Classes at the gym. Darn it. Why do the Conditioning and Boxing Classes have to be at 9:30am and 10:30 am instead of 11am and 12am today? Oh well. I guess I need the rest anyways from the gym. I have my knitting work all over the floor right now. So before I head out to work I want to put my knitting stuff away. And no none of my knitting will sneak its way into my bag because I do not have the same passion about knitting that I used to have. After work today I am going to try and go to the gym and see if it is open by any chance. I pray that the gym is open. Open gym is better then no gym. Okay all for now. Blog more later. Well the gym I wanted to go to was closed. Feeling depressed that I wasn't able to take part in Conditioning Class and Boxing Class today but working is important too and my clients that I look after depend on me. At the moment I am watching a movie and knitting. Okay all for now.

You have two choices. Here is choice number one. If you want to change, if you want to grow personally if you want to become a better you and have new experiences the key to doing so is stepping out of your comfort zone. Here is choice number two. But if you want to stay in the same place and keep on doing what you are doing they stay in your comfort zone. So the question is which choice will you go for. Personally I choose choice number one. I want to be that strong, stubborn, independent, fighting female who is never afraid of stepping out of her comfort zone to try new activities and have new experiences. To me stepping out of my comfort zone means challenging myself and taking hold of new opportunities.

Good Morning All. It is 5:30 AM in the morning. I just ate a bowl of Granola. Now at the moment I am drinking a cup of Coffee. Then I will put on my scrubs and head out. Today I have shifts with three clients. I hope all goes well today with my clients. For those of you who do not know I work as a Care Giver. Tonight I will go to the Boxing gym and work out for an Hour And A Half. Have a Great Day. I will Blog More Later. Hopefully later I will blog about knitting.

Note: My heart goes out to France. At least 84 people died in Nice, France yesterday. When will people learn that violence is not the answer and that violence does not solve issues or problems? All violence does is make things worse.

3:00 PM: Good Afternoon All. I enjoyed working with my clients today. I don't always get enough hours at work so what I have to do is sit down at my computer. Type up resumes and cover letters and apply to more jobs. I want well actually need a second job. I was thinking maybe a weekend evening job. In knitting news the back of my cardigan is coming along. I started off with 94 stitches and now I am down to 78 stitches. I had to bind off 16 stitches for the shaping of the arm holes. I now have to knit the back of my cardigan until it is 25 inches. Then I get to bind off stitches to shape the shoulders and knit some more and then I bind off all the stitches. After that the back is complete. Okay well now I am going to listen to music and knit until I head out for the gym in about an hour. Looking forward to Boxing tonight. I won't be able to take part in Boxing tomorrow because the classes tomorrow will be held earlier then their usual time. I think the classes will be early tomorrow because at the usual time I have a feeling that the fighters taking part in the boxing fight coming up will be training. I might add on to this blog later. Enjoy your day all. In my city today it is beautiful and sunny.

9:54 PM: So I made it to Boxing Class this evening from 5:00pm to 6:30pm. It was a good workout. When I got back home I drank coffee and tea and ate pasta. I have also been working on some knitting. I have to learn to keep my knitting at home and not take my knitting with me when I go out places. When I used to live in Halifax I used to knit out in public but in Victoria I only like to knit at home.

There Is More For Me In This World

Education wise I am a college graduate. I graduated from college with a diploma in recreation therapy and I also graduated from college with a certificate as a health care assistant but still I don't feel satisfied and I keep on feeling that there is more for me out there in the world to achieve. I just recently started working again as a care giver. I used to work as a care giver before but then stopped and now got a job as a care giver with a different company. Care Giving is rewarding but I keep on getting the feeling that there is more out there in the world for me then having a career as a care giver. At times I wonder if I just chose an education path in the health care field because I have relatives who worked in the health care field or wanted to work in the health care field.

Creative wise I have interests in art, music, photography and textiles. I enjoy creating art through drawing and painting but feel as if I only have an interest in art because I have relatives who are artists and have talents in art. Music wise I am trying to learn how to play the ukulele but feel again as if I only have an interest in learning a musical instrument as I have relatives who enjoy playing musical instruments. I do though love listening to music on the radio. I also have a love for taking photos but don't take photos all the time of course. Textiles wise I like to crochet, knit and sew. I also enjoy spool knitting. Knitting use to be a passion of mine but I am not passionate about knitting anymore like I use to be. I feel as if my passion for knitting disappeared when I was diagnosed with tendonitis in my wrists from knitting too much. I feel now that I am just into textiles because I have relatives who are into textiles. I also feel that I am just into textiles because it is a way I can feel connected to both my maternal and paternal grandmothers. A third reason I am into textiles is because I am creating my own fashion style for myself. (I have this dream of walking into fitness centres wearing my knitted items. In the Autumn I can vision myself walking into a Gym wearing a beautiful hand knitted cardigan. And in the Winter I can vision myself walking into the Gym wearing again a beautiful hand knitted cardigan but also a knitted toque, scarf and mitten set.)

Exercise wise I have interests in field-hockey, curling, boxing and kickboxing. I also am into bike riding, hiking, running and swimming. I want to get into golf and tennis. I don't go hiking, biking or swimming often. I haven't been on a curling team in ages but I love curling. I feel that field-hockey, boxing and kickboxing are sports that I do not because of others but because they are my passions. I never used to think of myself as an athlete but now I am seeing myself as an athlete. I have a relative who plays field-hockey as well but that isn't the reason I got into playing field-hockey. I don't know how I actually got into the sport but field-hockey is a sport I played for several years and recently just got back into. I got into Boxing and Kickboxing about a year ago and what I have come to realize is that I am passionate about Field-Hockey, Boxing and also Kickboxing. Field Hockey, Boxing and Kickboxing are activities I do for me and not because of others. My passion is Exercise, Fitness and Sports. And I like the new me.

With this new information that I have learned about myself I feel there is more for me out there. I especially get the feeling that I am not on the right career path. I just have to figure out what there is for me out there that I have not taken hold of because I want to take hold of every opportunity that comes my way while still pursuing my passions in field-hockey, boxing and kickboxing.

When it comes to the creative side. I am not going to drop my creative interests in art, music, photography or textiles. I am just going to remind myself that being creative in art, music, photography and textiles are just for fun and are ways to help me be a well rounded person.

Good Morning All. I just finished drinking a cup of tea and now I am drinking coffee and knitting. The knitting project I am working on at the moment is my cardigan. The back of the cardigan is turning out. It will be exciting when I am finished the cardigan and also if the cardigan turns out. Today I have a goal to work on my Fitness Training Course. I also want to send out emails to some stores to see if they will sell my hand knitted mittens. I already sent an email to one store called "Peace Freaks Fair Trade Clothing". I also sent an email to Ten Thousand Villages.

Okay now on to Boxing News. Since I have taken up Boxing my entire life makes sense. When I am Boxing I am focused on Boxing and nothing else in the world matters. My goal is to become a champion Boxer. My goal is to become the best athlete that I can possibly be.

9:22 PM: I went to Michaels today and bought four balls of yarn for my cardigan. After Michaels I went to the beach today and just enjoyed sitting by the beach, smelling the fresh sea salt air and looking out at the water. After the beach I headed towards the sports field for a Field Hockey Clinic with the Canadian Olympic Men's Team. On the way to the UVIC sports field I ran into two of the French Monitors of La Maison Francaise. So I spoke in French a little bit. At the Field Hockey Clinic we got to practice Indian Dribbling, Passing and Shooting. Now I am back home.

Good Afternoon All. Sorry I haven't posted since the ninth of July. My computer crashed so I had to buy a new lap-top computer which was annoying. On Monday night I took part in conditioning and boxing classes at the boxing gym. The boxing coach had us all wear mouth guards during boxing class. I dislike wearing a mouth guard but I had to wear one. I feel that I dislike wearing a mouth guard as it feels weird in my mouth. I should be used to wearing a mouth guard as I have to wear one for field hockey. On Tuesday night I played Field-Hockey and had an amazing time. I fell once during the game and bruised my wrist internally and also my knee. But I had fun. Tonight I am taking part in Conditioning Class and also Boxing Class at the gym.

9:37 PM Update: Good evening all. I had a great time at the Boxing gym tonight.

In Textiles news I am knitting a pair of red and yellow mittens and also knitting two cardigans. I hope you enjoy the photos that I have posted.

Good Morning All. I hope you all have a great day today. At the moment I am drinking Coffee and Mint Tea. On Tuesday evening I played drop in field-hockey which was a lot of fun for an hour and a half. I hope to play field-hockey again next Tuesday night. On Wednesday evening I went to the Boxing Gym and took part in the Boxing Class which I really enjoyed. On Thursday evening I tried a new Boxing Gym which I had not been to before. I would go back but it is kind of pricey. Yesterday it was back to the regular Boxing Gym. Coach was pissed off at me for saying "I Don't Know". Oops sorry coach.

In knitting news I am knitting some new mittens and cardigans. I just finished knitting a pair of Blue and Orange Mittens. I will take photos of the mittens and post them for you all to see.

I am Bummed out I won't be able to go to the boxing gym today. But I am looking forward to Monday boxing.  Maybe I will try conditioning again as well on Monday.
