Saturday October 10th, 2015

Good Evening All. Yesterday I finished my first mitten. I will post photos of my mittens when both mittens are knitted. Today I went to Boxing class at the gym. I am still not good enough at Boxing. I should have gone to Conditioning Class as well but didn't. I need to stop slacking off and be committed to Boxing. So I have decided to practice Boxing moves every day at home as well for an hour. At the moment I am stitching toques together because I am not going to put off what I can do today to tomorrow.

Thursday (Jeudi) October 8, 2015

Good Morning All. So first of all I would like to share some news about yesterday. Yesterday on Wednesday October 7th, 2015 I dropped off a resume at a home care company and I applied for two jobs online. I also met with two Mormon Missionaries. I left the meeting with the two sisters feeling angry and pissed off because I don't religious beliefs to be forced upon me. I also went to the Boxing gym last night and took part in the conditioning class and also the boxing class so I was at the gym for two hours yesterday. Yesterday I didn't get to do any knitting. I got home and I was so exhausted last night. Today I am going to apply for jobs, knit and go to the gym for women's boxing. I hope everyone has an amazing day today.

Knit Hat And Scarf

Good Morning All. I just drank a cup of coffee and now I am drinking a cup of tea. Outside it is raining but I have to go out today to drop off a resume. Then I am coming home, having a shower and then heading out again. But first of all I wanted to share photos of my newest knitted hat and scarf. I finally finished the scarf at 1am this morning. Listening to Hilary Duff helped me to finish the scarf. It isn't the length the pattern calls for but that is okay as I feel a scarf should be knit to the individuals desired length who is knitting the scarf if that makes any sense of what I just wrote. Anyways I hope you all enjoy looking at the photos.

Sunday October 4, 2015

Good Morning All. First of all here is a fun fact for the month. October is Learning Disabilities Awareness Month.
Second of all here is a fun fact for the week. This week is World Space Week.
Third of all here is fun fact number 1 of the day. Today is National Golf Day.
And fun fact number 2 is that today is National Frappe Day.
I was going to go to church this morning but didn't leave in time. I am going to go to a new church today for 1pm. I am going to a Mormon Church. Should be interesting. So here is an update. The Mormon Church was closed today. They have two locations (at-least two locations) and there is a conference happening at the other location. So I didn't get to experience a Mormon Church Service. So disappointed. At the moment I am chilling at Starbucks listening to music like Taylor Swift and drinking a Graham Latte. Another thing I wanted to talk about on my blog is the ukulele. I own two ukuleles but don't know how to play the ukulele yet. But today I stumbled upon  a musician named Brittni Paiva who plays the ukulele. So far all of her videos which I have heard have been instrumental. I feel that stumbling upon musician Brittni Paiva was an act of Gods. God wants me to play instrumental music on the ukulele. And that's why he had me stumble upon musician Brittni Paiva who is now an inspiration of mine.

Tonight I will go to a Pentecostal Church.

In Knitting news I am knitting a toque. Once the toque is finished I will include photos. Also once the toque is finished I will start knitting the scarf to go along with the toque.

Well I hope everyone has a Sunny Sunday and also a Funday Sunday. Go out and have excitement and do something fun and special to add in to your life story.

Saturday October 3, 2015

Good Morning All. First of all I wanted to share that October is International Dinosaur Month.

Here is a fun fact of the day. Today is International Frugal Fun Day. International Frugal Fun Day is held on the first Saturday of the month.

Another fun fact is that today is Look At The Leaves Day.

Yesterday I went to Walmart and bought grey yarn and double pointed knitting needles in US 4 and also in US 5. now I can start knitting a toque, scarf and mittens. I also bought Chai Tea, Shampoo, Thanksgiving Cards and a Blank Card that has yarn on it. Here is a photo of the Chai Tea.

In my opinion Chai tea is best to have during the Autumn months. Stash Chai Tea is my favorite tea and I really, really love the tea. Here are photos of the cards I bought. I hope you like them.

I also went to Swing Dancing for the first time last night. I got to the Swing Dancing late so decided to just observe and figure out if it would be something I would actually like to participate in another time. And I would like to go to Swing Dancing again and participate the next time. But just going and observing Swing Dancing yesterday was a major first step for me in trying a new activity.
Well I hope you all have a Successful Saturday in your textiles endeavors and also in whatever you do today.

Friday October 2nd, 2015

Good Morning All. I hope everyone is having a Fantastic Friday. First of All I wanted to share that today is World Smile Day. World Smile Day is on the first Friday of October.

So here is a question for all of you to think about. What makes you smile? My plan is to write a list of ten things that make me smile. One thing that makes me smile is knitting. Another thing that makes me smile is boxing. Okay so the other eight things that make me smile are crochet, sewing, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, hiking, bike riding, and photography. And now I realize I could make my list a lot longer because family and friends also make me smile and so does listening to music and writing. And I am sure there are more things that make me smile.

Last time I was at the boxing gym was Monday. I haven't gone since Monday as I have been feeling low, and depressed. I am hoping to go to Swing Dancing tonight and am looking forward to going back to the boxing gym on Monday. I am also looking planning to go to a Pentecostal church on Sunday evening and a Baptist church on Sunday Morning.

Okay so now on to some knitting news. Today my goal is to go down to either Michaels and or Walmart to pick up some grey yarn to knit a scarf, toque, and mittens. I have never knitted mittens before so knitting mittens should be fun and challenging. I was considering knitting gloves but have been told that mittens are easier to learn to knit then gloves so I will start off with mittens. Okay that is all for now.

Vertigo Knitted Toque

Good Evening All. Happy Thursday October 1, 2015. I just wanted  to share with you that I used a new knitting pattern and knitted a new toque. I knitted a grey Vertigo toque. It took me about two days to knit the new toque. At times I felt frustrated with my knitting and at times my knitting depresses me. At times I also wanted to throw in the towel, give up and quit knitting for a while. But I persevered and I think I am happy with my newest toque and will keep the pattern. I hope you enjoy looking at the photos.
