Knitting and Coffee

There is nothing better in the world then a good cup of coffee and some knitting to keep a person happy and occupied. I have to be careful though and only knit a few rows at time due to tendonitis in both of my arms. The tendonitis starts in the fingers and goes all the way up to the shoulders. It is painful and makes me feel depressed. But knitting and coffee brightens me up.

First of all today is Earth Day so I would like to wish everyone a Happy Earth Day. How are you going to celebrate Earth Day?

Okay so I have been trying to take a break from knitting as I have tendonitis. But taking a break from knitting is kind of hard as I am addicted to knitting.

My heavenly father God gave me the gift of knitting and then he gave me tendonitis. I was thinking he gave me tendonitis as he wants me to spend less time knitting and more time with him. He also wants me to knit not for myself but for people in need in the community.

Not being able to knit makes me feel emotionally run down, depressed and sad. But I am thankful I have the knitting skill. Okay that is all for now.

Monday (Lundi) April (Avril) 13, 2015

This Monday (Ce Lundi) I began working on two new toques. I still have enough orange yarn to make more orange shaker toques so I am working on my third orange shaker toque. I also have enough yarn to knit another purple classic toque so I am also knitting another purple classic toque for women. After I am finished knitting the purple toque I am hoping I will have enough yarn to make a purple child's classic toque. Once I am finished the toques I will post photos of my work.

Here are some photos I took today. I hope you enjoy the photos. I am now working on knitting on another orange shaker toque.

 

Update: The Orange Shaker Toque that I was working on is finished so here is the photo I hope you all enjoy seeing it. As of now I have 68 toques to donate. 4 Toques will go to the hospital and 64 toques will go the homeless shelter.

 

Slippers

I am knitting slippers for the fist time. Will post photos once I am finished knitting the slippers.

Pink Classic Toque

I have started knitting a pink classic toque. Once it is finished I will post a photo. I hope to get it finished today. Well I finished the pink toque. Here are two photos I took this morning.
